Friday the 13th, Astrology and broomsticks..

Friday the 13th, as good a day as any for my first blog!  I feel like I am sticking my head above the parapet. I am having a sleeping beauty moment….

My Garden had become totally overgrown in the last three years or so, and I have loved it. The window in my living room became entirely obscured by jasmine; the entire porch was covered in it, to the extent that people got caught up in it, a bit, both on their way in and out! The raspberries had gone feral; I had a festival of wild strawberries in the grass, the apple tree had tangled with the honeysuckle, making a fairy arch into the back garden. The place alive with the stirring of insects and fairies; I found the rabbit hole in the brambles that had strangled my washing line.

However I have been told that no baggage is allowed on flight 2012 by a source close to the source on Facebook, of course! So, today, there are five eco and faery friendly, happy, kindly entirely lovely Heroes out there ruthlessly cutting it back down to size literally cutting out the dead wood on the day that Mercury conjuncts Pluto in Capricorn and a practical evident truth of what needs to be cut out of our lives in order for new growth to occur is revealed.

I am an Aquarian with, as they say, ALOT of Capricorn; and I have been having a Neptune ‘Transit’ for most of my adult life. Neptune ;  Lord of obfuscation and connectedness, dreamscape, symbolic language, artistic zeitgeists, the boundary less, oceanic oneness, spiritual bliss, illusion, fantasy, addiction; Neptune, in the last degree of Aquarius now. After 15 long years it will move into its own sign, Pisces, at the beginning of February. On a personal level, I am awakening as if after a long strange sleep. Yet all of us are waking up, collectively,  from the scientific dream, the era of big brother and mass media, the internet, home computing, networking humanity together and dreams of utopia, and all being equal under the sun, the dark underbelly of humanities dreaming seeping through into culture and therefore; the cult of mundane celebrity and a pain free adolescence. But Neptune’s wave moves restlessly onwards and things are shifting in the dreamscape realms. When Neptune hits it own sign for the first time in 284 years, the dream will be beamed directly into our psyches, unedited by the characteristics of the sign it’s expressing through. In Aquarius this has been the collective consciousness of humanity, like a tsunami, the wave of pure consciousness is rolling towards us. No religion, no politics, no separations. It seems to me its time to get with Satsanga or down the sangria. By the power of the relentless, ceaseless ocean, we will be called to leave our addictions behind us and shed the baggage we are avoiding within them. Ooh, dramatic, well Neptune is fairly epic!

Today Venus conjoins with Neptune and makes a gorgeous aspect to Saturn, who has been visiting her house for a couple of years now. This highlights the feminine along with the Moon in Virgo and the concept of service, detailed attention to daily activity and the romance of siren in the collective dreaming being levelled and brought into consciousness by Saturn’s great book of karmic law. The days astrology is spilt into yin and yang in a very obvious way. Mars also made a fabulous aspect to the Sun and this afternoon as the Heroes got busy with the power tools, the girls turned up spontaneously in my living room discussing work, dreams, making tea in a magical teapot and reading the leaves. My windows are clear, the light is entering my living room, my garden is tidy; a metaphor that runs through my whole life. WOOOOO HOOO. This astrology thing is merely a language that is mirrored everywhere and through everything.

This evening I shall dance and celebrate the upcoming marriage of a very close friend to a dark stranger from foreign climes. Bright blessings on the light returning to all our lives. Xx <3

  1. Wooo Hoo indeed Madame! And a fabuloso first blog if I may say so! Mmmm, Neptune leaving Aquarius is a huge change ~ maybe now we can stop re-inventing the wheel and get on with the business of healing and love and spirits of all sorts! Your garden sounds wonderful and is a very good place to start... You are also in probably the funkiest location on the planet for Neptune in Pisces (especially if the sea level rises). Look forward to many more blog posts and will post this on my wall. Dance your socks off my dear and keep your eyes peeled for out-of-control broomsticks!
